Donations

If you are interested in making a donation to the chapter scholarship fund here in Blacksburg, you can do so through the Virginia Tech Foundation. You will need to write a check with a note or memo listing Austin Chapter of the Virginia Tech Alumni Association. You will receive a receipt in the mail for their donation and this can be used for corporate matching.

If you do not mention your donation for Austin then it will go into a general fund for the foundation.

Hokie/NFL Football Star to Speak!

Will Furrer, the third highest passing Hokie quarterback, Distinguished Hokie Alumni, and former NFL player on teams including the Houston Oilers is scheduled to speak at the Austin Hokie Scholarship Dinner on June 16! Will Furrer will share the start of the infamous Beamer Ball years!

Will Furrer currently resides in Georgetown and is president of IF marketing & advertising.

The Hokie family welcomes Dr. Kenneth Ball, Professor of Mechanical Engineering at Virginia Tech. Dr. Ball will present the latest research news at Virginia Tech.

Join Hokies, family and friends for this fun event. In addition to great food and fellowship, there will be a silent auction, raffle, and door prizes including an autographed football by Head Football Coach Frank Beamer!

All proceeds will benefit the Austin Chapter scholarship fund, which assists local high school students attending Virginia Tech. Your tax deductible donations are always welcome.
